Former US Vice President Kamala Harris has once again indicated that she may join the presidential race in the future, although she has not yet taken any final decision in this regard. This statement has come at a time when there are reports of tension in America’s relations with other countries due to Donald Trump’s decisions.
In an interview with BBC on Saturday, Harris said that she is hopeful that in the coming years a woman will become the President of the United States and it could be herself.
Statement on 2028 elections
“I haven’t given up yet,” Harris, 60, said. He rejected the suggestion that he would face major challenges in the future. He clarified that he has not yet taken any decision about trying his luck in the presidential elections in 2028.

Harris said, ‘I have lived my entire career with a spirit of service and it runs deep in my veins. There are many ways to serve. I never paid attention to opinion polls.

In an interview with The Associated Press last week, Harris also clarified that she has not given up the idea of running for re-election in 2028. She said she sees herself as a dedicated leader of the Democratic Party and is currently preparing diligently for the 2026 midterm elections.
2024 experience
Harris has recently released his book ‘107 Days’. The book focuses on Harris’s experience as the 2024 Democratic Party presidential nominee to replace then-President Joe Biden after he dropped out of the race. He ultimately had to face defeat from Republican Party presidential candidate Donald Trump in the 2024 elections.
