In his long film career over 65 years, Kamal Haasan tried his hand in acting, direction, screenplay, choreography and even makeup and did everything that an artist wants to do. What remains to be done? We may feel a lot. But, he (with full honesty) says that he had stopped learning at some time. When the reason was asked, his answer was due to greed. Haasan says that greed for more money came in his way. Hassan said in an interview to ‘PTI’ this week, I like money. I want it to be with me. Talking about life, films, thoughts, heritage and its weaknesses openly, Haasan accepts the inherent contradictions of the life of a film star. If he is happy with the love from the immense audience, then there is a regret of real praise or honest criticism.
He has felt all this very well, because he has spent almost all his life in the world of films. He was just three years old when he got a chance to work in a Tamil film. Since then, except for a few intervals, the 70 -year -old actor has been continuously giving himself a new look to walk step by step with changing times. After that extraordinary beginning and so many achievements, do they feel like saying a lotus by patting their own back?
It is clear from Hassan’s reply to this that he considers success as temporary. In an interview at the news agency headquarters, Hassan said, “My favorite writer Jayakantan has said that once you climb Everest, do not remain on top because there is no place (to live).” Then you will stick to him and will not let anyone else climb it. And you really disappear, because you are not at the center of the people.
He said that by reaching the top, loneliness can also be felt. Hassan, who has performed brilliantly in films like “Apoorva Ragangal”, “Nayakan”, “Thever Magan”, “Sadma”, “Pushpak Vimana” and “Aunty 420”, the film “Thug Life” is going to be released in the coming days, directed by Mani Ratnam. The film is scheduled to release in theaters in many languages on 5 June. Haasan, who started a political party like many other stars of South Indian films, has also directed several films, including Hey Ram and Vishwaroopam.
He clearly stated that the life of film stars is not easy because his close people always try to raise them and their feet do not let the ground fall on the ground. ” He said, the beauty of cinema is that you get a lot of love from countless spectators here, but it also takes you away from those who witness your success.

Hassan, who has been associated with the film industry for more than half of Indian cinema in the history of 120 years, underestimates his achievements and talks very impressed about the early years of his career. He said, because of the schedule of my work, I searched for more gurus. I think the greed for money stopped me from learning. Otherwise, I could learn more…. He said that Amiri is the thing that people dream at the age of 20 and they were like this. Haasan said, I took the risk and went on that path for a long time. Then I started my own company.
Fortunately, I did this before the age of 30. It was a risky task. Does Haasan want someone reading the book of the history of cinema in 2075 read about him? On this, he said that his mention in history books is far away, even if someone remembers him after 50 years, he will be grateful. He said, I hope he will remember my name. They will compare me with another person, and I will get credit without any reason. ” Hassan was born to a lawyer’s father’s house affected by Mahatma Gandhi’s thoughts.

Haasan said that he considered himself an extraordinary and talented child. He said, it was a self -consciousness that went away at the age of seven or eight. I realized that there are many more talented children, in front of whom I am nothing. ” He says that after coming to the cinema, he moved the theater where he met many talented people.
He said, at first I was suffering from inferiority complex, but then he accepted me and I realized that I had to learn a lot. Haasan is currently busy promoting the thug life. This is his second film with Mani Ratnam after the Naikan, who came 38 years ago. Haasan said that in the career of more than 230 films, there are only a dozen films that he considers his best films. These include Sagar Sangamam and Nayakan. He said that he still likes these films a lot today. Has this star who is always busy thinking about retreat? On this, he said, age will decide about this, not achievements. The achievements may not be able to give you the right answer. But age will tell you, I have not decided anything yet.
