Jharkhand Heavy Rainfall | Alert for heavy rain continued for some parts of Jharkhand from 13 to 15 July

The Ranchi Meteorological Center has issued a warning of heavy rainfall at different places in the southwest parts of Jharkhand, as well as warning of thunderstorms and lightning in different areas across the state. After this, now giving the latest weather updates, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has released ‘Yellow Alert’ in the forecast of heavy rains in parts of Jharkhand from 13 to 15 July.

‘Yellow Alert’ released for 13 July 

The Meteorological Department said that ‘Yellow Alert’ has been released for July 13 in Gumla, Khunti, Simdega, Seraikela-Kharsawan, East Singhbhum and West Singhbhum districts in the state. At the same time, ‘Yellow Alert’ has been released for July 14 in Giridih, Bokaro, Dhanbad, Deoghar, Dumka, Jamtara, Saraikela-Kharsawan, East Singhbhum and West Singhbhum districts.

According to the Bulletin of IMD, on July 15, Deoghar, Jamtara, Dumka, Pakur, Godda and Sahebganj districts may receive heavy rains. Abhishek Anand, Deputy Director of Ranchi Meteorological Center, said, “The state may receive heavy rains at some places with light to moderate rains till July 15.”

 In Jharkhand 69 percent moreRainfall 

 Officials said that Jharkhand received 499.6 mm of rainfall between June 1 and July 12, which is 69 percent more. He said that during this period, East Singhbhum district recorded the highest rainfall and after that Ranchi received 150 percent and Seraikela-Kharsawan received 130 percent more rainfall. However, five districts of Jharkhand Deoghar, Garhwa, Godda, Sahebganj and Pakur have recorded a decrease of 21 to 29 percent from June 1 to July 12.
