According to the police, jewelery seller Name was going to his shop on the Budhana-Habibpur road in Budhana police station area, when the miscreants looted them on the way.
Neem Chandra has alleged in Tahrir to the police that three unidentified miscreants stopped them and escaped by robbing gold, silver jewelry, mobile phone and four thousand rupees in cash worth lakhs of rupees on the strength of guns.
Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime) Indu Siddharth told reporters that on receiving the information, the police reached the spot and started a search operation to catch the robbers.
