The Executive Jathedar Singh Sahib Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj of Sri Akal Takht Sahib issued a message in the name of the Khalsa Panth from the darshan of Sachkhand Sri Harmandir Sahib Sri Darbar Sahib on the occasion of Bandi Chod Divas. He said that the owner of the sixth Guru Miri-Piri, Sri Guru Hargobind Patshah ji, by establishing Sri Akal Takht Sahib himself, blessed the Sikhs and the entire people with such a true throne which always guides forward for the words of right, truth, justice and religion. Congratulations to the entire Khalsa Panth on the occasion of Bandi Chod Divas.
On this occasion, he demanded from the government the release of Bandi Singhs detained in jails for a long time. He said that the government should immediately release the Bandi Singhs who have completed their sentences and fully implement its notification issued in 2019 on the occasion of the 550th birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji by commuting the death sentence of Bhai Balwant Singh Rajoana to life imprisonment. Pray for the release of captive Singhs in every guru’s house.
Jathedar Sahib said that Guru Sahib himself has given the principle of Miri Piri, which states that a Sikh should be strong in religious, family, social and economic terms, but also politically strong in the global level. Today, Sikhs live in various countries around the world. Wherever the Sikhs lived with their honesty and integrity, they established a beautiful Gurdwara Sahib with devotion.
As before there have been orders from Sri Akal Takht Sahib that no human being can be prevented from coming to Gurdwara Sahib. But for some time now, such incidents are happening at foreign Gurudwaras, it is not in the interests of the Panth that we should prevent anyone from coming to the Guru Ghar for our personal interests or by resorting to the law. The Sikh community is a joint family. That is why it is important that we stay united.
It is the blessing of the Gurus that no mutual differences in the Sikh community are so great that someone tries to create a split in the community by making it the basis. There is no such difference in the nation, but the Sikh community Khalsa Panth is a common family.
The Jathedar of Sri Akal Takht Sahib said that this corridor was closed due to some tumult between India and Pakistan for the past few months, but the Sikh community has the feeling that this corridor should be opened soon so that the message of mutual love and harmony between the two countries increases and the region makes progress. To propagate the great philosophies of Gurmat in different corners of the country, great efforts and great efforts are needed.
He said that in the month of November, the 350th anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and the martyrdom of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib Ji are being celebrated in the month of November this year with the support of the entire Khalsa Panth at Gurdwara Sri Sis Ganj Sahib, Sri Anandpur Sahib and Gurdwara Sri Sis Ganj Sahib, Delhi, the Sangat should participate in these events as much as possible.
