Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi today visited advance areas and posts in Sunderbani sector of Jammu and Kashmir and assessed the operation of units and structures in the area. During this visit, the army chief was informed about the existing security landscape and operating dynamics on the Line of Control by the Formation Commanders, giving him a wide observation of the current strategic atmosphere.

Talking to the soldiers, the army chief appreciated his exemplary performance in Operation Sindoor and appreciated all the ranks for their professionalism, dedication and perseverance. He emphasized the significant importance of being agitated and responsible for the continuously developing security scenario, repeating the need for continuous vigilance, operational preparations and institutional flexibility.

At the same time, Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi visited the White Night Core on Thursday and took stock of the campaign preparations of the soldiers posted on the border. While appreciating the soldiers for his outstanding performance during ‘Operation Sindoor’, General Dwivedi insisted on being alert on the emerging security challenges on the border.
