Mumbai has a large number of Jain community. This figure can be around 50 lakhs. More than 108 different organizations of Jain community are active in Mumbai.

The BMC team broke the 30 -year -old Parshwanath Digambar Jain Temple in Kambali, Vile Parle East, Mumbai on 16 April. Prior to this action, the Municipal Corporation sent a notice to the temple. Against which Jain society had also filed a petition. It was to be heard on 17 April.

The Brahm Mumbai team’s action was taken before the hearing. Due to this, people of Jain community have become aggressive. He expressed his anger in a non -violent manner on Saturday.

Thousands of women-men were seen shouting slogans on the streets. Everyone opposed the BMC by tying black bats. People were shouting slogans – we are not weak, we will build temples there.
