Volodimir Zelansky has appointed former senior cabinet minister Olha Stephanishina as the new Ambassador of Ukraine in the US, stopping the speculation that has been going on for months. Who is Olha Stephanishna?
Born in 1985 in Odessa, Stephanishina received a postgraduate degree in the International Law from the International Institute of International Relations of Taras Shevachhenko National University in 2008. From 2017 to 2019, he led the government office for European and Euro-Atlantic integration. In July 2025, he was appointed as Special Representative of the President of Ukraine for the development of cooperation with the United States.

Three people died in Russian attack on Kyiv
