After which the houses and offices of their relatives are also being searched. His son’s name came up in the alleged liquor scam in Delhi.
Deep Malhotra’s son also had to go to jail. He was out on bail a few days ago. Along with this, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) also raided here a few days ago.
Deep Malhotra is one of the big liquor businessmen of Delhi and Punjab. Deep Malhotra has been the MLA of Akali Dal from Faridkot in 2012. However, after that they did not get the ticket. According to sources, during the time of former Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh in Punjab, Ponty Chadha had control over the liquor business. Sukhbir Badal has brought Deep Malhotra to break it. After which Akali gave him the ticket.
Raid also on the CEO of Jira Liquor Factory
Pawan Bansal, CEO of Jeera Liquor Factory along with Deep Malhotra has also been raided. Jeera Liquor Factory has been in the limelight for some time now. There the people of the area started opposing it. In this regard, the dharna was going on for several days. After which the Punjab government was forced to close down the liquor factory.
