Israel attacked Iran in the early hours of Friday, killing its top military officers and targeting nuclear and missile sites. These attacks have increased the possibility of widespread war between the two anti -West Asia countries. It is considered to be the biggest attack on Iran after the war with Iraq in the 1980s. The attack took place amid tension arising over Iran’s rapidly growing nuclear program. Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said after the attack that Israel will be “punished”.
The countries of the region condemned the Israeli attack, while leaders from all over the world called for immediate stress. The Israeli army stated that around 200 aircraft were involved in the initial attack on about 100 bases in Iran. Two security officials said the country (Israel) espionage agency Mossad was also able to deploy explosive drones inside Iran and then activate them to target the missile launcher at the Iranian base near Tehran.
He said that Israel had smuggled arms as well as systems attacking vehicles in Central Iran, which were activated as soon as the attack on Iranian air security started. Officials talked about this highly confidential mission on the condition of anonymity, although it was not possible to independently confirm their claims. No official comments have been made. The goals of the Israeli attack included several places, including Iran’s main nuclear enrichment facility in Natanj, from where black smoke could be seen rising.
Later in the morning, Israel said that it has also destroyed dozens of radar installations and surface -to -air missile launchers in western Iran. Those killed include three top Iran’s top military leaders, Chief of Staff General Mohammad Bagheri, Armed Forces, General Hussain Salute of the paramilitary force ‘Revolutionary Guard’ and General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, Director of the ballistic missile program of Guard, and Guard’s ballistic missile program.
Iran has confirmed all three deaths, which is a major setback for Tehran’s government system and this will complicate retaliation efforts against Israel. Khamenei said that other top military officers and scientists were also killed. In its first response, Iran fired over 100 drones on Israel, both Iraq and Jordan confirmed that they had passed through their airspace.
Israel said that the drone was being killed outside its airspace and it was not immediately clear whether a drone entered its airspace or not. In his first public remarks about the attacks, US President Donald Trump again urged Iran to compromise with Washington on his nuclear program, and warned on his ‘Truth Social’ stage that Israel’s attacks “would be more terrible”.
Trump said on the social media platform ‘Truth Social’ that “There is still time to stop this massacre, because the upcoming attacks already planned will be even more terrible.” Trump appealed to Iran that “he should make a nuclear agreement, before that nothing was left and which was ever known as the Iranian Empire, save it. No longer death is no more death, no more destruction is there. Go. ” Washington warned Israel to the attack during a talk on Iran’s nuclear promotion program.
The Trump administration said that it has no hand in these attacks. At the same time, he has warned of taking any kind of action by targeting American interests or personnel. The US seems to have been suspected that the attack could take place as Washington on Wednesday called some American diplomats from Iraq’s capital and offered voluntary withdrawal for families of American soldiers from West Asia.
