An announcement posted on the government website said the agenda of the meeting would be a plan for the release of all Israeli hostages.

During the announcement of the peace plan agreement, Trump posted on Truth Social, I am very proud to announce that Israel and Hamas have both signed on to Phase 1 of our peace plan. The US President said that this agreement means the release of all hostages… very soon. Trump further said that Israel will withdraw its troops to an agreed line, taking the first step towards a strong, durable and lasting peace.”
