Israel called an emergency meeting of UN Security Council, accused Hamas of keeping hostage hungry

Israel called the Emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) and demanded the immediate release of the hostages present in Hamas in Gaza. The meeting was followed by the video that shows the 24 -year -old hostage digging his grave on his own. In the meeting, Israel’s Foreign Minister Gidon Sar alleged that Hamas has hungry the hostage while Hamas is robbing and selling them by selling them. At the same time, most countries blamed Israel for the situation of starvation in Gaza. On August 5, 65 Palestinians were killed in Israeli shelling and air strikes, out of which 56 people were waiting for the help distribution centers.

The UN rejected the claim that the United Nations spokesperson denied the Israeli claim, saying that there is no concrete evidence of Hamas robbing material. Many members of Palestinian side and UN consider Israeli blockade as the cause of food crisis in Gaza. At the same time, Britain described the parade of hostage as disgusting. Israeli Foreign Minister Gidon Sar, who arrived in New York to attend the meeting of the council, accused Russia and other anonymous council members of spreading “a lot of lies” on the international media. He pointed out those who were held hostage by Hamas and Islamic Jihad during the October 7, 2023 attacks in Southern Israel, while terrorists were enjoying meat, fish and vegetables.

Sar, emphasizing that Israel is providing huge amounts of assistance in Gaza, and accused Hamas of robbing and using them as a financial instrument for looting and selling them. United Nations spokesman Stephen Dujarik has said that there is no evidence. Israel’s top diplomat also accused Palestinians of inventing terrorism and continuing Hamas of continuing the war against Israel instead of reaching the ceasefire.
