Iran on Wednesday thanked India’s “freedom-loving” citizens, political parties, institutions and others who stood with Iran during the military attacks of Israel and America.
The Iranian embassy said in a statement that he appreciates the “true and precious support” of those who support Tehran. However, he did not give any reference to the Government of India. On Sunday morning, the struggle between Iran and Israel increased after the US bombed Iran’s three nuclear bases.
US President Donald Trump on Tuesday announced a ceasefire between Iran and Israel. The ceasefire appears to be applying on Wednesday. India welcomed the ceasefire on Tuesday and said it is ready to play its role in solving the situation. The embassy said that while the Iranians were facing military attacks, solidarity, support, public statements and peace related messages were the source of encouragement.
