On the other hand, chasing a target of 193, Kolkata’s Shubman Gill scored 51 off 43 balls. Apart from that, Venkatesh Aiyar gave a solid start by adding 91 runs for the first wicket, but then Kolkata lost eight wickets for 34 runs.

Apart from the two openers, only Shivam Mavi (20) and Loki Ferguson (18) were unbeaten in the lower order.
