He said that in view of the upcoming rainy season, the drainage system should be inspected and if necessary, immediately should be repaired so that the drainage of water is not interrupted for any reason. Maksudan Mandi is being cleaned daily and no effort will be left in making this market an ideal market.
Apart from this, he also asked the concerned officials to make proper arrangements for light in the market at night. He also appealed to the street vendors in the mandi not to throw garbage and garbage here and there and contribute to maintaining cleanliness. After the meeting, the District Market Officer visited the Sabzi Mandi along with Secretary Market Committee Jalandhar and inspected the cleanliness.
