How the stories of films have been written in different stages in the society can be understood by watching films of the last several decades. This idea today, on the last day of the ‘Cruel’ of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National Journalism and Communication University, the screenwriter of famous films like ‘Rustom’ and ‘Iqbal’. Rawal expressed. On the last day of the session, senior journalists Anant Vijay, Brijesh Kumar, Balakrishna and Aditi Rajput addressed the students in various sessions.
Screen writer Rawal, while discussing the journey of Indian film industry and development of global cinema, discussed the important changes in the field of film writing with stories of real life related to real life and discussed the words of writing and technology. Senior journalist Anant Vijay present in the session said that the stories of films are our feelings. If we look closely, we will find that in most of the stories of cinema, there is an inspiration of Ramkatha, because Ramkatha is created in our mind. He said that today in various massive people, the film review has become a distinction of a film, the lack of analysis and investigation is clearly visible. It is very important for students to understand this. He said that it is necessary to deep dive in the story for film review writing. He told that if we have the great information of the people, we will be able to write the best reviews.
In another session, Dr. Brijesh Kumar Singh, Senior Editor of Network 18, said that it was a period of print radio three decades ago. At that time, only some news bulletins used to come on TV. He said that in the way the digital phase started from the year 2000, the print media also retired itself and adapted itself according to the convergence. Mr. Singh said that today digital media is growing rapidly and it has given strict competition to other mediums. In his editing, he said that there is no need to panic with artificial intelligence. The digital market will increase a lot, with the demand for original content will increase, so the students focus on improving their skills.
Senior journalist Balakrishna, the main speaker of this session, explained in his time on the credibility and broadcasting of the media, how the wrong information has increased the demand for fact checking in the media. He said how digital frauds are growing across the country. In his lecture, he stayed associated with youth technology while talking about visual investigation and fact checking in the media. On this occasion, former university student and anchor of NDTV Aditi Rajput said that the media is a powerful tool today, it has the power to change the society, but it definitely has some responsibility. He asked the students to emphasize on study and learn new skills.
Talking about the sensor technology, drone technology expert Chirag Jain said that the technology related to the media sector has developed immensely. In the last few decades, this journey has expanded to Behreen cameras and drone technology through print media. Use of drone technology in society is increasing. There is a lot of potential in this field. He also shared his stortup experiences. Advocate Shikha Chhibber, who was present in this session, gave his address on the new aspects of the Indian Justice. He said that the purpose of new laws is to give justice to every common man. He said that it is very important for media students to know new laws and their provisions.
Dr. Nidhi Arora, an Associate Professor of Kalindi College, New Delhi, shared her experiences related to the university. He said that success will always support you when you do it with full strength. Sarita Chaurasia, a former student and filmmaker of the Department of Cinema Studies, gave her views on how to start a career in the film’s world and his experiences related to the university.
In the concluding session, Chief Guest Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission Chairman Ashok Pandey said that rights and duties are together, journalists have an important role in front of the society without any color. Following the religion of society is the responsibility of journalists, on this occasion, Vice -Chancellor Vijay Manohar Tiwari said that we surprise us at the step step in our life. Life is filled with many miraculous events. He said that the Guru Mantra given by the experts who came to the session is going to be useful for the students. He called upon that in the next 20 years the country will complete 100 years of freedom and during this time the dream of developed India can be fulfilled only with the contribution of young students.
