Indigo aircraft going to Ranchi hunted ‘bird hit’, pilot made emergency landing

An Indigo flight to Ranchi had to make an emergency landing after being attacked by a vulture at a height of about 4,000 feet at Ranchi Airport. Airport officials said on Monday that there were 175 passengers in the flight at the time of the incident and all the passengers are safe. The bird collided with an indigo plane near Ranchi. At the time of the incident, the aircraft was about 10 to 12 miles from the city at an altitude of 3,000 to 4,000 feet. Indigo aircraft was coming from Patna to Ranchi and the pilot had to make an emergency landing here. He said that all the passengers are safe, but after a vulture collided, the aircraft got pit. Engineers are assessing the loss.

The incident took place at 1.14 pm. Another official said that the aircraft coming to Ranchi was going to Kolkata. However, IndiGo officials did not comment. It should be noted that the incidents of collision of the bird are common threats in the aviation sector, especially during flying and landing and all airlines conduct aircraft before bringing the aircraft back into service. Another flight from Raipur to Delhi on Sunday experienced disturbance due to dust storm, due to which the pilot had to climb up again before landing at Delhi Airport.

According to the Meteorological Department, this rain is due to a group of clouds moving towards the east-east. People got a lot of relief from the heat due to rain, as the maximum temperature in the national capital was recorded more than 39 degrees Celsius in the morning.
