External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Saturday targeted Pakistan, saying that the country has openly declared terrorism as its state policy and remains a “center of global terrorism”. Addressing the 80th United Nations General Assembly session, Jaishankar also mentioned the Pahalgam terrorist attack in which 26 innocent tourists were shot dead. He said that India started Operation Sindoor using its right to protect its people against terrorism and put its organizers and criminals in the dock of justice.

India has been facing this challenge since its independence, as its neighbor is the center of global terrorism. For decades, this country has been considered to be behind the major international terrorist attacks. The names of its citizens are filled in the United Nations list of terrorists. The latest example of cross -border cross -barbarity was in April this year in Pahalgam innocent tourists. He said that India exercised its right to protect its people against terrorism and put its organizers and criminals in the dock of justice.

The Foreign Minister said that claiming its rights, India also faced threats strongly and combating terrorism is a special priority as it consists of fanaticism, violence, intolerance and fear. Jaishankar, while launching a scathing attack on Pakistan, cited big terrorist attacks around the world and said that only one country – Pakistan is behind these attacks.
