India played their first match against the UAE on Wednesday in the Asia Cup 2025. In this match played at the International Cricket Stadium in Dubai, Kuldeep Yadav and Shivam Dubey won the victory of Team India due to the performance of Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill. In their first match, India defeated UAE by 9 wickets. After the best start, the UAE team lost 10 wickets within 31 runs. In Jawab, opener batsmen Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma forbed back to back bake bakery and gave India a match.
The UAE team came out to bat first after losing the toss, captain Muhammad Wasim and Alishan Sharafu got a good start. But the bowlers from India did not let the UAE succeed in this. First Hardik Pandya started bowling after which Jasprit Bumrah gave Team India the first wicket.
In the fourth over, the UAE got the first blow as a luxurious Sharafu. Sharafu scored 22 runs off 17 balls with the help of 3 fours and 1 six. After this, the entire team collapsed for 31 runs. After Sharafu, captain Muhammad Wasim touched the double figure. He scored 19 runs in 22 balls. Kuldeep Yadav lbded captain Wasim.
After 14 months, Kuldeep Yadav, playing international cricket, once again proved that it is the right decision to trust him. He bowled 2.1 in this match and took 4 wickets for 7 runs. Shivam Dubey took 3 wickets in 2 and 3 wickets. Jaspreet Bumrah, Akshar Patel and Varun Chakraborty took 1-1 wickets.
At the same time, the pair of colon batsmen Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma started batting for India. Abhishek Sharma scored 30 runs in 16 balls. During this, he also hit 2 fours and three sixes.
