US immigration officials arrested an Indian student Badar Khan Suri from Virginia on Monday night. Suri is accused of spreading propaganda in support of Hamas in the US.
The US government is taking action against the student workers opposing foreign policy. Suri has also been arrested under this. Suri is accused of opposing Israel.
Badar Suri is a student of Georgetown University in America under the Student Exchange Program. He is studying as a post doctoral fellow at the Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding.
Assistant Secretary in the US Home Safety Department, Trissia McLaglin, posted on X and alleged that Suri was actively promoting Hamas.
He was promoting anti -Jewish spirit on social media. It can be deported from America.

Trichia claimed that Suri had a close relationship with suspected terrorist, who is a senior advisor to Hamas.
Badar Suri’s wife is from Palestine Suri’s wife is Mafaj Saleh Palestinian. Suri reached Gaza in 2011 to help people, during which both met. Muffaz has done post graduation from Jamia University in New Delhi.

Indian student’s visa canceled for supporting Hamas The visa of Indian student Ranjani Srinivasan, studying at Columbia University in America, was canceled this month. According to the US Home Safety Department (DHS), Ranjani received admission to PHD in Urban Planning of Columbia University under F-1 Student Visa.

Leka had been living in America on an expiry student visa since 2022. Leka Cordia was earlier arrested in April 2024 for his involvement in pro -Hamas demonstrations.
