Indian spinner Amit Mishra announces retirement, said goodbye to all format of cricket

Another spinner of India Amit Mishra has announced retirement. Amit Mishra, who was active in professional cricket for 25 years, has said goodbye to all forms of cricket. He will not be seen in international cricket and IPL as well as India’s domestic cricket. However, they can now play in other T20 leagues of the world.

Amit Mishra has played 22 Tests, 36 ODIs and 10 T20 International matches for India. He made his debut in international cricket in 2003 and played the last international match in 2017. He was playing IPL and domestic cricket for the last 8 years. Amit Mishra, who took 76 wickets in Tests, 64 in ODIs and 16 in T20, has 174 wickets in the IPL.
On his retirement, Amit Mishra said that, these 25 years of my life have been memorable in cricket. I am grateful to BCCI, Administration, Haryana Cricket Association, Associate Staff, my comrades and my family members who stayed with me during this time.
He further wrote that, I want to thank those fans whose love and support, whenever and wherever I played, made this journey memorable. Cricket has given me countless memories and priceless learning and every moment spent on the field has become such a memory. Which I will cherish throughout my life. In the future, Amit Mishra’s intention is to be as possible in the game, whether it is through coaching, commentary or guidance of young cricketers.
