Indian Railways launched Railone app, all services related to rail will be available on a platform

On Tuesday, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav launched the Railone Mobile Application, which has been designed to provide convenient access to passengers to many services including ticket booking, train and PNR inquiry, travel plan, rail assistance and food booking. The app available on both Android and iOS platforms was inaugurated during the 40th Foundation Day celebrations of the Center for Railway Information Systems (CRIS).

In a press release by the Ministry of Railways, the Railone app was described as a comprehensive solution for all passenger needs. This highlighted that users would be able to reach various services directly through the app directly to reserved and unreserved ticketing, platform tickets, trains and PNR inquiries and food booking. It has also been said in communication that it also includes facilities of freight inquiry.

The ministry emphasized that the primary objective of the app is to improve the experience of users through a simple and easy interface. He said that the app not only integrates all services at one place, but it also provides integrated connectivity between the services that give users a complete package of Indian Railways offers. A special feature of the app is single sign-on capacity, which simplifies the login process by removing the requirement of several passwords.

Users can log in using their existing railway or utsonmobile app ID after downloading the Railone app, which eliminates the requirement of different applications for different services and saves storage space on the device. Additionally, the Ministry referred to facilities for easy logins including the introduction of R-Wallet (Railway E-Wallet) within the app as well as numeric mpin and biometric options. He also mentioned that new users can register with minimal information, which facilitates a quick and simple registration process. For those users who want to inquire only, guest login options are also available using mobile number and OTP.
