The Sapta Shakti Command of the Indian Army conducted a major integrated fire exercise in the Mahajan Field Firing Range in the Thar Desert of Rajasthan, whose code was ‘Amogh Fury’. The purpose of this practice was to test the war power, coordination and operational readiness in real-time war scenarios, which reflects the preparation of the army for multi-regional campaigns. In this exercise, there was a coordinated demonstration of warfare tanks, infantry fighter vehicles, attacker helicopters, long -range cannons and drones. These platforms were deployed simultaneously to demonstrate the ability of the army to coordinate ground and air means for effective aggressive and defensive actions.

The main focus of ‘Amogh Fury’ was the integration of modern techniques, including network-focused communication, command-and-control architecture, and real-time monitoring and targeting systems.
