The BCCI has announced Team India’s Test team for the Indo-West Indies Test series starting next month. The first match of this series is to be played from October 2. The second test is to be held on 10 October. At the same time, there have been many changes in Team India for this series.
While the team’s command has been handed over to Shubman Gill, Ravindra Jadeja has been made the vice -captain of the team. Akshar Patel has returned to the series who was out of the England tour. At the same time, Karun Nair’s leaf has been cut. Apart from this, Shreyas Iyer has not been selected for this series. Because he has taken a long break from BCCI 6 months red ball cricket.
Ajit Agarkar has dropped Karun Nair and Shardul Thakur from Team India for the upcoming two -match Test series against the West Indies. Let me tell you, both these players were involved in the team. Abhimanyu Ishwaran was also not included in the team.
During this, Ajit Agarkar told that all -rounder Akshar Patel and top order batter Devdutt Padikkal have returned. Akshar played the last Test for India in 2024 February, while Padikkal played the last Test match for the team in the month of 2024 November.
