In 1989, some Islamic extremist groups in the Kashmir Valley revolted for the demand for independence and some groups revolted for joining Pakistan. Pakistan had a major role in provoking these rebel groups and providing weapons. The series of murders started at that time, due to the immature political leadership of India and Kashmir, he got into a violent cycle that has not been possible to get out till date, and everyone had to pay the price.
