Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday condemned the violation of Qatar’s sovereignty after Israel’s air strikes targeted Hamas leaders in Doha. Modi posted on ‘X’, “Qatar’s Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Tani and expressed deep concern over the attacks in Doha. India condemns the violation of sovereignty of Qatar country. ”
He said, “We support the conversation of issues and to prevent the solution and stress from increasing through diplomacy. In support of peace and stability in India region and stands firm against all kinds of terrorism. ”
After the attack, Hamas said that five of its members were killed in the Israeli air strike. However, he also said that Israel’s attempt to kill his leaders failed. Hamas said that when the attack took place, his talk team was consulting the US proposal for the ceasefire in Gaza Strip in a building.
A statement issued by India stated that Prime Minister Modi appreciated the role of Qatar in promoting regional peace and stability, including the ceasefire in Gaza and mediation efforts for the release of all hostages.
The statement said that the Prime Minister emphasized the need to resolve all issues and stress from increasing through dialogue and diplomacy. The statement said, Sheikh Tamim thanked Prime Minister Modi for showing solidarity with the people of Qatar and the state.
