Team India star opener KL Rahul has continued his best form in Test cricket. He has scored a brilliant century against the West Indies in the Ahmedabad Test. With this century, KL Rahul has also finished a long wait of 9 years for a century on Indian land. He scored the first and only century in India in 2016. After that he had to wait for 26 innings for his second century in India. This is his 11th century in Test career.

KL Rahul scored a century against England in 2016 at the Chennai ground. This was the same match in which Karun Nair also scored a triple century. After that, now the Narendra Modi Stadium of Ahmedabad has witnessed his second century in India. KL Rahul is consistently performing brilliantly. At the same time, he has a chance in this match to score his first double century.

Rahul has scored 9 out of 11 centuries on foreign land in his Test career. Out of which two centuries came out of his bat on the recent England tour. Apart from this, he has also scored centuries in countries like Australia, South Africa. KL Rahul had earlier scored 532 runs in 2025, scoring two centuries on the England tour in the year 2025. Along with Shubman Gill and Ravindra Jadeja, he was the top performance of the previous series on the British land. After Rohit Sharma’s retirement, he got the opening position from back. Which he is now taking advantage of well and proving himself. Earlier, his batting position has been confused. Sometimes he used to play in middle order and sometimes he used to open. But now he is part of the Indian Test team as an established opener.
