The second Test between India and West Indies is being played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Where India got the target of 121 runs to win the Delhi Test. At present, after the follow-on, West Indies’ second innings was limited to 390 runs. Justin Greaves and Jane Seals left India searching for the last wicket. Both completed a partnership of 79 runs for the tenth wicket.
Greaves remained unbeaten after scoring 50 runs in 85 balls. Seales contributed 32 runs in 67 balls. Jasprit Bumrah defeated West Indies by dismissing Seales on the fifth ball of the 119th over. During this, Bumrah and Kuldeep took 3 wickets each, while Siraj took two wickets and Washington Sundar and Ravindra Jadeja took one wicket each.
For West Indies, John Campbell scored a century and Shai Hope also completed his century. Due to which the visiting team managed to cross 300 in the second innings. Campbell scored the first century of his Test career and Hope scored a century in Test cricket after 8 years. In this match, India declared by scoring 518 runs in the first innings, in response to which the visiting team scored 248 runs in the first innings.
