India scored 318 runs for two wickets against West Indies on the first day of the second Test being played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi from Friday. At the time of stumps, opener Yashasvi Jaiswal is 173, while captain Shubman Gill is present at the crease after scoring 20 runs. Sai Sudarshan also played an inning of 87 runs but in the end he became the victim of Jomel Warrican. Jaiswal and Sudarshan made a partnership of 193 runs for the second wicket. While Warrican took two wickets.
Earlier, captain Shubman Gill won the toss and decided to bat first. Jaiswal took full advantage of this.
