Yashasvi Jaiswal played at a fast pace in the second innings and scored 28 runs off 22 balls with the help of 6 fours and during his innings he also completed 2000 runs in Test cricket. Not only this, he now came to the first place jointly with Rahul Dravid and Virender Sehwag in the list of batsmen who scored 2000 runs in the lowest innings for India. Yashasvi did this in 40 innings of Test matches while Dravid and Sehwag also did this in 40 innings.
Apart from this, Yashaswi completed his 2000 runs in Test cricket and as an opener, he is second in the list of batsmen who scored a century in the lowest innings of India with Rohit Sharma. Rohit also completed 2000 runs in 40 innings while Yashasvi also completed 2000 runs in 40 innings. Yashasvi surpassed Gautam Gambhir who did this in 41 innings. For India, Kamal Virender Sehwag has done this feat in just 39 innings as an opener in Test cricket as an opener.
