Cases of corona virus are on the rise in the Indian cricket team that toured England. The team’s head coach Ravi Shastri and three members of the support staff were infected with the corona virus during the fourth Test against England.
After which another case of Corona has come to light in the team. Now the person who has been found corona positive is the team’s physio Yogesh Parmar. Corona’s case comes ahead of the fifth Test at Old Trafford on Friday. Team India’s training session today (Thursday) has also been canceled. Before Yogesh Parmar, the team’s chief physio Nitin Patel was also found infected. If both the physios are found to be positive, it means that Team India will have to seek the help of the England physio.
According to media reports, members of the Indian team have been asked to stay in their hotel rooms till further notice. The latest case of Corona is believed to have come to light after a test on Wednesday evening. Earlier, Ravi Shastri, bowling coach Bharat Arun, physio Nitin Patel and R Sridhar were also found to be corona positive. These members have been kept in seclusion for 10 days.
