Bangladesh fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman has broken the record of former all -rounder Shakib Al Hasan. Mustafizur has become the highest wicket -taker for Bangladesh in T20 International cricket. He did this feat with a wicket against India in the Asia Cup 2025 on Wednesday.
Mustafizur Rahman dismissed Team India captain Suryakumar Yadav for 33 runs in four overs in the match being played in Dubai. Mustafizur, who made his international debut in 2015, currently has 150 wickets in 118 T 29 matches. Shakib, 38, has taken 149 wickets in 129 T20 matches for Bangladesh. He no longer plays international cricket.
