India U -19, headed by Abhigyan Kundu, defeated England Under -19 by 4 wickets in the third Youth ODI of the 5 match series. 14 -year -old left -handed batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi played an important role in the India Under -19 victory. He missed a century by just 14 runs, but scored an 86 -run innings in 31 balls with the help of 6 fours and 9 sixes.
Vaibhav has played 6 Youth ODIs for India so far. This is his highest score in this. He completed his half -century in 20 balls. With this, he became an Indian to score the second fastest half -century in Youth ODI. He missed out on breaking Rishabh Pant’s record. Rishabh Pant is the first number.
