Troubled for dealing
The deceased’s mother Ritu Verma said that her son used to study in class 11 in a government school in Chandigarh. School children created a meme page on social media. Five months ago, the school administration called him and said that his son is included in this page. The school even checked the child’s phone, but nothing suspect was found in it. After this, the school administration also deleted the Instagram account of the original.
Called Chandigarh alone and questioned
On Saturday, Ritu Verma went to Jalandhar for some work. During this time he received a call from Chandigarh, which was told that there was a case about his son’s social media account. To this, he replied that this case has already been settled. The mother alleged that he later came to know from the basic friends that after talking to him, his son was called to Chandigarh alone for questioning.
The mother and friends of the deceased allege that the police took the original to a room alone and beat and threatened. According to friends, the original was intimidated saying that his career would be abolished, he would not get admission in any school or college, and will take legal action against him.
The deceased’s mother, Ritu Verma, has demanded strict action and justice against the accused. He said that his son was very smart and he took this drastic step due to such pressure.
