Both the farmers’ forums will protest against the cabinet minister and MLAs other than CM Bhagwant Mann from this afternoon.
Kisan Mazdoor Morcha (KMM) and United Kisan Morcha (Non Political), who run 13 months agitation on Shambhu and Khanouri border of Punjab and Haryana, will surround the house of several cabinet ministers and MLAs including CM Bhagwant Mann today.

KMM convenor Saravan Singh Pandher announced the performance to perform the demonstration in the afternoon last day. After which an online meeting was held with SKM Non Political. In which SKM non-political also talked about walking together.
Let me tell you that on March 19, the Punjab Police had evacuated the Shambhu and Khanouri border by taking the farmer leaders into custody. After this, the movement of vehicles started on both the borders. The police has released Saravan Singh Pandher. While the fasting Dallawal has been admitted to a hospital in Patiala.
After 13 months, the police opened both border On 13 February 2024, farmers announced Delhi Cooch on demands. To stop the farmers, the Haryana Police closed the road by barricading on Shambhu and Khanouri border. The farmers tried to travel to Delhi 4 times, but the police did not allow the farmers to move forward by firing tear gas shells. During the confrontation on 21 February, young farmer Shubhakaran Singh died on Khanouri border.
Dialogue did not solve 7 times
On 26 November 2024, farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallawal started a fast unto death at Khanouri border. There was a 7 -time talks between the Center and the farmers, but no solution was found. After the seventh round of talks on 19 March 2025, the Punjab Police detained farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallawal, Saravan Singh Pandher and other farmer leaders from different places.
After this, both borders were evacuated. On 20 and 21 March, the movement of vehicles started on both the border.
