A source in Turkish Foreign Ministry said on Friday that Turkish Foreign Minister Gaza will travel to Egypt on Saturday to plan to control the city and talk with senior officials on the human situation there. Israeli’s political-security cabinet approved a plan to control the city of Gaza in the early hours of Friday, as it is expanding its military operations despite the growing domestic and international criticism on the almost two-year-old disastrous war.
Israeli’s security cabinet has approved the plan to take military control over Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Gaza city. The move has increased the possibility of further casualties in the war in which thousands of Palestinians have already been killed and a large part of Gaza has turned into debris. But after Netanyahu’s move, Turkas have come into action. Turkish Foreign Ministry said on Friday that Türkiye strongly condemns Israel’s plan to control Gaza City. Not only this, Turkey has called for a ban on the implementation of the scheme from the International Community and the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).

This Israeli approval was given under the five -point target whose main purpose is to dismiss Hamas. This decision has created a possibility of warning in this region to be further intense for almost two years. The controversial decision to control the city of Gaza has been taken at a time when there are large -scale anti -government demonstrations throughout Israel, demanding immediate ending the war and ensuring immediate return of those hostage by Hamas.

Netanyahu’s office said that the security cabinet ministers believe that the alternative scheme submitted to the security cabinet will neither lose Hamas nor return to the hostages. It is not yet clear what the alternative plan was. The scheme approved by the Security Cabinet includes five principles: disproportionate to Hamas, the return of all the hostages, the immersion of Gaza, the Israeli security control in Gaza and the establishment of an civilian administration that is neither Hamas nor Palestinian Authority. Netanyahu’s office said the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) would prepare to take control of the city of Gaza, distributing humanitarian aid to ordinary citizens outside the war areas.
