More than a dozen armed Nihang Singhs closed the employees of the market committee in the office. Employees informed SDM Karanvir Singh. On the instructions of SDM, the police team of police station city Jagraon reached the spot. SHO Varinder Pal Singh Uppal spoke to Nihangas. Nihangas accused the mandi management of scams. He said that elderly employees have been appointed in Mandi and necessary records are not being given. The employees allege that Nihang was demanding money. The action of the Nihangas was wrong, the head of the Association, Ghanaiya Lal Banka Gupta and Jagseer Singh Kaler and other agents also came on the spot. He denied the action of the Nihangas. Said that if there was any problem, then a legal route should have been adopted. The police reached the spot and the case, the SHO explained to the Nihangas that they should give their complaint in writing and if the record is needed, then demand under the Right to Information. After the intervention of the police, Nihang left from there. People say that the work of Nihangas is religious, their interference in mandi management is not appropriate. At the same time, Nihangas claim that they are inspecting all the mandis because there is corruption and poor management.
