Bureau report : A depot holder surrendered himself to fire in Ferozepur Cantt Sitti. Seeing the 54-year-old depot holder burnt by fire, people tried hard to pour water. Then he was also taken to the hospital. According to the initial information, the person who surrendered himself to the fire said before setting the fire that he tried to die after being fed up with blackmailing.
The person who set himself on fire has been identified as Om Prakash alias Pathan. He was said to be a resident of Ferozepur Cantt Bazar No. 2. His wife has also voluntarily ended her life.
Hospitalized Pathan said that on September 3, a girl went with him of her own free will. The next day, on September 4, he took 15 lakh demands. Hearing this, he refused to go with the girl. The next day on September 5, he left for Delhi. On September 9, suddenly the girl went to the hospital and got her medical done and filed a police complaint against her.
Om Prakash said that the girl and the policemen were harassing him. On Thursday, the girl was passing in front of the shop and made a comment on her due to which she set herself on fire. In this entire incident, the showroom also caught fire. The fire was brought under control with fire brigade vehicles.
