In Faridkot district of Punjab, farmers’ front continued for the second consecutive day in the ancestral village of farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallawal. Although blockade was also done in place to stop the farmers coming to the front from the police, but still the farmers first in the front.

SSP Faridkot Dr. Pragya Jain, along with Gurpindra Singh, son of Jagjit Singh Dallawal, who was leading the front, arrived to meet on Wednesday and offered the family to meet the family with Dallawal, but the family turned down his offer.

SSP Dr. Pragya Jain told the family that he meets Jagjit Singh Dallawal. To which Dallewala’s son Gurpindra Singh said that when his father has pledged that he will not take water until the farmer leaders are released and in such a situation the family will not go to meet him till his demand is met.
Farmers’ front in Faridkot after Khanouri and Shambhu
After the government ended the ongoing front at Khanauri and Shambhu border, Bharatiya Kisan Union Ekta Siddu Pur has started a farmers’ front in the ancestral village of its leader Jagjit Singh Dallawal. In which hundreds of farmers are present. To prevent this front from strengthening, farmers leaders are being arrested across the state including Faridkot and all the roads coming to the village have also been blocked.
