Before the protest, a fury march was taken out from Lala Lajpat Rai Park of Kotkapura to the Batian Chowk on behalf of the farmer organizations involved in the United Kisan Morcha. On this occasion, District Head Jaspal Singh Nangal of BKU Ekta Ugrahan, farmer leader Harnek Singh, Bahar Singh, Shamsher Singh, Tirtha Kaur and Mahender Kaur said that only after the consent of the Modi government at the Center, the Trump government of America has imposed tariffs on India, which will have a direct impact on the common people.
