Ahaan Pandey made his debut in Bollywood with Anit Padda from Mohit Suri’s film “Syara”. The film made a place in the hearts of the audience and both became an overnight star. Directed by Mohit Suri, the film plays the role of composer Krish Kapoor, while Padda plays an emerging journalist Vani Batra, who helps Krish to write songs. His romance and the challenges that come with him are the original story of ‘Saira’. The pair received the award based on their performance in IMDB’s ‘Popular Indian Celebrity Rankings’. These ranks are done on the basis of users around the world.

The film was released on July 18, after which the pair topped the rankings of IMDB. With their performance in the film, both the stars have reached the top 100 globally, with Padda 64th and Pandey 75th. Pandey said that this is the first prize of his career and it is even more special to meet the audience’s response.
He also thanked Yash Raj Films, Aditya Chopra and Suri. Pandey said, “Being a part of IMDB is a matter of pride to be honored by it.” Padda said, “I am happy that ‘Saira’ and my acting in it has impressed the audience around the world, due to which I have received the IMDB ‘Breakout Star’ Starum Award. The award inspired by the audience is really a meaningful identity … ‘
‘Syara’ has grossed over Rs 500 crore at the world’s box office after its release, with which the film has become the most successful film of Suri’s career. Suri has also directed films like ‘Zahar’, ‘Aashiqui 2’ and ‘Ek Villain’.
