Famous singer Guru Randhawa’s recently released song ‘Ajul’ has been engulfed in controversies. While this song is becoming popular among the people on the one hand, on the other hand some people are questioning it. He believes that the song is shown improperly to schoolgirls.
What is the dispute?
The music video of this song stars Guru Randhawa in the role of a photography teacher who goes to a girl’s school. Actress Anshika Pandey, who is playing the role of a student in the video, performs a dance sequence, which mesmerizes the Guru’s character. Critics say this scene and video concept is objectionable.

What did Guru Randhawa say on the dispute?
After the controversy escalated, Guru Randhawa did not directly issue any statement, but shared some posts on his Instagram stories. He wrote in Punjabi, ‘Jado, I started to please all, sad. Ajj I am happy myself, everyone became sad. (When I tried to make everyone happy, I was sad. Today, when I am happy myself, everyone else is sad.)
Earlier, he thanked God for the success of singing in another post. He wrote, ‘Ajul is Ajuling. When God is with you, you move forward. ‘ This song is written and composed by Guru Randhawa, in addition to which Bol is written by Gurjit Gill.
