ICC Rankings Update: Long jump of Dewald Brevis, Rohit Sharma also benefited

The ICC has released its latest ranking. In this ranking, 22 -year -old batsman Dewald Bravis of South Africa has benefited strongly. In fact, in the second T20 match against Australia, Dewald Bravis took a century. After which he has made a long jump of 80 places in the ranking.
Apart from him, Indian ODI captain Rohit Sharma has also benefited in this episode. Rohit has benefited from one place without playing any match. He has defeated former Pakistan captain Babar Azam.
South African young batsman Dewald Brevis scored an unbeaten 125 runs and the team defeated Australia by 53 runs in the second T20 on the basis of his innings. Along with Dewald, 19 -year -old Quen Mafaka bowled well and played an important role in the team’s victory.
This was Dewald’s first century in T20 International, which is also the largest T20 International score made by a batsman in Australia. He defeated Shane Watson who scored an unbeaten 124 against India in Sydney in 206.
Brevis became the South African batsman to score the second fastest century in T20, as well as the highest score in T20 and also became the youngest South African batsman to score a century.
After this innings, he jumped 80 places in the ICC T20 batting rankings and reached the 21st position.
Apart from this, Tim David jumped 6 places in the ICC rankings and has reached 10th position. This is the best rating of his career ever. His fellow Cameron Green also jumped at 6 places and reached 17th position in the same list, while South African player Triston Stabs jumped 12 places to secure 27th position.
 
Kagiso Rabada gained 15 places and Lungi Angdi climbed up 14 places to come up to 50th in the list of ICC T20 bowlers.
At the same time, Rohit Sharma has benefited from one place in the ICC ODI rankings and he has reached another place. At the same time, Babar Azam has lost a place due to poor performance in the ODI series against West Indies and slipped to third place.
