ICC ODI Rankings: Rashid Khan becomes number-1 ODI bowler, Shubman Gill’s reign in danger

On Wednesday, ICC has released the latest rankings of men’s ODI players. In this ranking, Afghanistan’s star spinner Rashid Khan has again become the number-1 ODI bowler. He currently has 710 rating points in his account. Rashid bowled lethally in the three-match ODI series against Bangladesh, leading to Afghanistan’s clean sweep. Afghanistan’s Azmatullah Omarzai has again become the number-1 ODI all-rounder. Apart from scoring 60 runs, he took seven wickets in the Bangladesh series. He gained one place. Umarzai captured the top spot by defeating Zimbabwe’s experienced all-rounder Sikandar Raza. Umarzai has 334 marks while Raza has 302 marks. Rashid has also improved in the all-rounder ranking. At the same time, Shubman Gill’s reign in the list of batsmen is in danger. Gill is the number-1 ODI batsman with 784 points but Afghanistan’s Ibrahim Zadran has come close to him.
