On Tuesday, a 36 -year -old doctor who created a ruckus in a flight of Air India Express going from Bengaluru to Surat was arrested. She allegedly threatened to crash the aircraft, when the cabin crew objected to placing its belongings in the restricted area near the crew cabin. Due to this incident, the flight was delayed by two hours and there was a concern about the security system. The accused has been identified as Vyas Haral Mohanbhai, a resident of Shivnahalli near Yalehanka. He was traveling alone in AI Flight IX2749 with two bags.

Police said that the Ayurvedic doctor sidelined the check-in counter and insisted on carrying both bags on the flight. The matter worsened when she climbed the flight and left one of her bags near the crew cabin while the other bag took her seat to 20F.
The passenger refused to cooperate, used abusive language
When the cabin crew asked him to put his bag in an overhead compartment above his seat, he refused and insisted that the crew should take responsibility for it. Despite several instructions from both the crew and the captain, she did not listen and verbally abused.
Other passengers tried to calm him down, but he allegedly shouted at him. At one time, she allegedly threatened that if the crew touched her bag, she would crash the aircraft.
The husband says that the woman has a history of creating a public uproar
The captain immediately informed the security officers, after which the Central Industrial Security Force personnel were called on the aircraft. He rode on the plane and removed the passenger Mohanbhai from the plane.
According to a complaint lodged by Agnimitra Bahinipati, Associate Manager of Security at Kamphegowda International Airport (KIA), the disturbance lasted from 2:45 pm to 5:30 pm on 17 June.

The police said the woman continued her disruptive behavior at the Camemegowda International Airport (KIA) police station, where she allegedly abused and physically assaulted the authorities, causing a senior official that this was the first time that such a language was heard there.
Her husband, who worked at an educational institution in Bengaluru, revealed that she had stopped practicing medicine and was going to Gujarat to meet the family. He also admitted that he had created public disturbance in the past. Officers are now checking his background.
