Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has said that she listens to the voice of conscience in difficult situations and persists on what seems right. In an interview to ‘Vogue Arabia’, when asked if what keeps them balanced, she said, “The thing that keeps me balanced is to be true and reliable. Whenever I face complex or difficult situations, I listen to the voice of my conscience and remain on the decisions that are really comfortable to be the most balanced.”
The actress said these things on the occasion of ‘Cartier Event’ in Stockholm, Sweden. He made this remark after a controversy over his exit from Sandeep Reddy Wanga’s film “Spirit” due to creative differences. However, there was never any official confirmation about Padukone being involved in the film.
Spirit is supported by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Vanga’s Bhadrakali Pictures. The controversy began last week when there were reports in the media that Padukone had left the film. The producers officially announced that Trupti Dimri would be the lead actress while Prabhas would be the lead actor.
A day before Padukone’s interview, Wanga made a post on social media, in which she targeted the actress in gestures. The director posted a long post on his ‘X’ handle without naming anyone and wrote, “When I tell a story to an artist, I trust him a hundred percent. There is an untold agreement between us, under which nothing is made public.”
He said in the post, “But by doing this you have revealed your personality … Decreasing a young artist and bypassing my (film) story? Is this your feminism.”
He had said, “As a filmmaker, I have worked hard for years to enhance my art and for me, everything is everything. You have not found it.
