Tamil Nadu Deputy Chief Minister Udayanidhi today took a dig at the Tamilga Vatri Kazhagam (TVK) chief Vijay over his recent Saturday election programs, saying that he is not a person who keeps his activities limited to one day of the week. Udayanidhi said that I am not a person who comes out only on Saturday. I keep traveling on Sunday as well. I do not even know which day is today. ”His comment appeared to be contrary to his constant publicity compared to Vijay’s high-profile Saturday’s election programs.

Earlier this month, Minister Durai Muraugan commented on the actor-royal attitude, saying, “Vijay is speaking from behind the scenes. First let him come out. What difference does he make on Saturday or on Sunday. We are doing their work. Should stay, not just weekends. If TVK wants to be a serious party, then it has to show it with his work. Vijay meets people on Saturday and Sunday, not in the week.

He further said that people will see it. If TVK wants to be the main opponent of DMK, he will have to show it. BJP and AIADMK leaders are available round the clock to the public. TVK should be available for seven days of the week, 365 days. If Vijay says that he will meet people only in the weekend, then it raises the question of how serious he is about politics.
