In the last World War War Parade, more than 12,000 soldiers, including diverse troops from Russia and Belarus to Mongolia and Cambodia, marched in the city with ex -servicemen. Beijing also collected more than 500 military equipment and 200 aircraft. Many Western leaders had distanced the distance from the 2015 event, as they worked about the message from the performance of China’s military power. The then Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe refused to join it. At that time, foreign participants included former German Chancellor Gerhard Shroder and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair. No information was given about the presence of foreign soldiers or foreign leaders participating in the press conference.
