Hyderabad Janmashtami Tragedy | Janmashtami Rath Yatra was going out in Hyderabad, sudden electric wire, painful death of 5 devotees

During the Krishna Janmashtami celebrations in Ramantpur area of Hyderabad, five people were killed and four others were injured when a chariot was hit by high tension electric wires. The incident took place late Sunday in Ramnathpur area at 1.30 pm.According to the police, the injured have been rushed to the hospital, while the bodies have been sent for postmortem.

Police said that idols of God were kept in this vehicle and this vehicle collided with the electric wire passing above, after which the wire broke and fell on the vehicle. Four people injured in the incident are undergoing treatment in the hospital.

The Uppal Police Inspector said, “Last night, five people died and four others were injured due to electric shock during Shri Krishna Janmashtami procession. The injured were taken to the hospital for further treatment and the bodies were sent for postmortem.”

The victims have been identified as Krishna Yadav (21), Suresh Yadav (34), Srikanth Reddy (35), Rudra Vikas (39) and Rajendra Reddy (15).Four other people injured in the accident are undergoing treatment in a private hospital. His condition is said to be stable. The police is investigating the case.
