A man allegedly strangled his wife to death in Ranchi. The accused suspected that his wife was having an affair with another man. Police gave this information.
Police said the incident took place at Lohar Kocha in Misirgonda late on Friday night and the body was recovered on Saturday morning. Gonda police station in-charge Abhay Kumar Sinha said, “The husband has been arrested. The woman’s body has been sent to Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) for postmortem.”
The deceased has been identified as Rahil Kashyap (40). Sinha said, “Her husband Shibu told us that he suspected his wife to be having an affair with someone. Due to this their relationship had turned sour. Last night there was a fight between them which escalated so much that he killed his wife.”
